When I see you smile I feel my heart leap right out of my throat.
I am left watching it flying about the heavens.
Elated by the sight of your joy.

My body does not even yearn for it back.
It takes its own delight in knowing
such a love for someone other than myself.

Chills and goosebumps,
waves of hot ripened passion,
peace - having found the well within me deep and everlasting.

Your joy, something to take pause at.
