Night mares living in a dream,
But it's always a nightmare.
Books of revelations, knights on mares
Signs of the apocalypse, no one cares.
Royal at Windsor, small men riding high
May the best man win; Anything Goes
In love or war, what’s left is what's to work with
All is fair when there is nothing left to share.
Starving from our own form of sustenance,
What keeps you fed?
The salt of my tears, the taste of my bread?
Is it the juice in my fridge, or the temperature I kept?
Nightmares each morning
In my head, crazy
that this is always what had to be
Born with scArlet fever, but
too stubborn to lay down and die.
Dedicated to the terra, mothered cradled tight;
Cometh from the land, for which may I steward
My rose bed, Care for the seeds I left,
dreams with ample room
Reaching, stretching out toward the sun light
Morning dew left from the humid night, not arid
But thirsty, hungry for life
Hopeful, not every dream will I awake from
Hurting, growing pains,
There is no more waiting on the Queen
Lost in translation long ago,
messages meant to bring us closer
Expressions of honesty, left us drained,
Crucifixions for testimony, our hands stained.
There's no turning back, not staged
One chance, and sometimes we aren't ready yet.
HINT: Stay disciplined, no matter the night you kept
You've got this shit, 'slayed dragons in a world apart
Played every part: dragon, pilot, artillery, good shot,
spotted, snake, spineless, a corrupt heart,
Found my fresh start, mastered the page,
Fell in love with the art, found the exit, in-sight
No clowns, no poltergeist, won't suck me in
Won't lose my fight, living in my dream,
A sixth sight, each night,
guiding all 17 hands to new heights
Me and my Shire re-writing the end of times
The horsemen are covered in wreaths of dandelions
Little girls upon My Little Ponies,
unable to control themselves
Too free to recognize that they are still screeching
Fauns in the new world, fallin’ out
Came to and just walked out,
had enough Vanilla Sky
In control and it's lights out,
Living in my nightmare,
When I scream, does anyone else hear?
