Rabbit Hole

I wish there was a way to reach you, to find a way to help relieve you. It’s an insatiable quest, making you only a guest - at your own birthday party. I wish there was something I could tell you that would make the longing dissipate.

You must learn to Live.
You must learn to Love.
You must learn to Laugh.
You must Learn, my Love.

I wish there was a way to teach you, not yet have I traveled those plains. Please don’t believe that I’ve left you, I will never forget your screams. Searching for a way to reach you. Longing to show you I care. Lost in the rain; I pledge to find you. This is both truth and D.A.R.E.

My Love,

Huddled and scarred you are not see’d less,
the Embassy Ball awaits you;
Flower Girl, Bloomed,
New Spread, Eagle Scout.
You let it all out My Love,
there is nothing to be ashamed of.
I wish there was a way to reach you,
unburden the weight; I see you.
Always making a stand, shoulder width,
armored up. It’s your story Arc,
but tonight lay down your sword.
May we chase rabbits again?
Remember a time when childhood rhyme
was more than a way to pass the time.
It brought us the New World, Wonderland,
TF-X “drive!”.
Hope, for a future still being dreamt up; divine.

Alice, pacing again, if only I could reach you. Keep you safe, keep you warm.
If only I knew the way to reach you, I’d hold you in my loving arms.
